Hi, I am Pastor Kafui Deladem, a family friend to Nurse Bertha. I have known her for more than a decade now, she is very friendly, and dedicated to her work. I had the privilege to see Nurse Bertha at The Ridge Hospital after she had her third child.
Regardless of the unfortunate report on her kidney failure, I saw a woman who had a strong will to live. Nurse Bertha would smile, chat and laugh when she can, and all these for me revealed her emotional stamina and will to live again.
I believe Bertha deserves our rescue, and that’s because, she has fought to be alive for more than a year now. Any help you can offer to see our sister and friend undergo a kidney transplant surgery is highly welcome.
